A little about Laragh:
Supporting women through pregnancy and early motherhood has been at the heart of my work for over twenty five years. Through pregnancy yoga, Mum & Baby yoga, doula work and my own experience as a mother of four, I have had the privilege of walking alongside many women during one of the most transformative times in their lives.
What I have always valued most is the sense of community that forms when women come together to share their experiences honestly: the joys, the challenges and everything in between. Many women have returned to my classes through multiple pregnancies, and it has been deeply meaningful to know that I have been able to support them through these important seasons.
Our SoulMothers Sessions have grown naturally from this work. It is a space for women to gather, reflect and connect as they navigate the profound transition into motherhood. My hope is that every woman who comes feels heard, supported and reminded that she is not meant to do this alone.
A little about Charlotte:
Charlotte is a midwife with over eighteen years’ experience across many areas of midwifery practice, and a mother of four. Throughout her career she has developed a particular interest in supporting physiological birth, breastfeeding and women in early pregnancy.
After moving from Belfast to Galway eight years ago, Charlotte experienced first-hand the realities of parenting away from extended family support. Through raising her stepson and welcoming three more children of her own, she has come to deeply appreciate the importance of the “village” around a mother.
Working with so many women during their transition into motherhood - often without the support networks that once existed - has strengthened Charlotte’s belief in the power of women supporting one another. This understanding sits at the heart of SoulMothers: nurturing communities where women can connect, share their experiences and feel supported not only in the early postnatal period, but throughout their journey into motherhood.
