A little about your Workshop Guide, Maeve Tonge

Maeve Tonge is a certified meditation teacher and she firmly believes we need to take action to mind ourselves and manage our wellbeing. She is passionate about meditation and would like to introduce meditation to you in an accessible, and heart centred manner. She has worked for over twenty years in health care supporting people navigate immense personal and family difficulties. She also believes in supporting and promoting wellbeing for staff in health care and provides workshops for staff. These experiences combined with the ‘ups and downs’ in her own personal life have shown her the importance of self-care to ensure wellbeing and vitality. As part of her self-care practices, meditation has been a settling and calming influence in her life.

Maeve is aligned with the vision of Soulmoves as a space in the community that promotes wellbeing on many levels. It is her wish to support you to connect to a style of meditation that works best for you - your mind, body and soul. These workshops aim to be gentle, restorative and insightful, affording you the time and space to explore what you need to sustain and nurture your health and wellbeing at this point in your life.

Maeve has recently completed her training as a Forest Bathing Guide and looks forward to incorporating these gentle mindful practices of immersing your senses in Nature and supporting you reconnect with a sense of awe and wonder in your day.
