How to arrive, how to survive and how to thrive

“ It is never too early to prepare for this next stage of our lives”

Embracing Menopause is a specialized full-day retreat exploring brain fog, anxiety, sleep, relaxation, breath-work, nutrition, exercise and movement and many other lifestyle choices to help support your transition through peri/menopause. For this retreat, we will create a safe space to nurture, support, discuss and question all aspects of this journey.

There has been a lot of talk and information about the Menopause over the last two years. This intimate retreat will help you prepare and create a new vision of menopause as a time of personal growth and an opportunity to let go of what no longer serves you, while reclaiming your vitality and joy for life.

Who will benefit from this retreat?

Our Embracing Menopause workshop is specifically designed for those women who are:

  • Perimenopausal

  • Postmenopausal

  • Interested in preparing for menopause before symptoms arise - we prepare for puberty and pregnancy. Why not prepare for our menopause too?

  • We also have had very positive feedback from women who have participated on a past course with complex medical needs who have not been able to take HRT.

  • It will also work well for those who wish to complement their hormonal medication with our lifestyle solutions.

Create your own toolkit

Going through peri/menopause can sometimes feel like the rug has been pulled from under our feet and as a result we can feel lost and disempowered. The aim of our retreat is to demystify the symptoms of peri/menopause and understand what might be causing them. By understanding your symptoms and being informed you can make confident choices and create a toolkit to help you thrive during this time of your life.

Knowledge is power!

Our teachings will not replace the hormones that decline during menopause but they can reduce stress, improve sleep and digestion, reduce bloating, build balance, bone and muscle strength and lift a low mood if you are feeling lethargic. Information and education give you freedom to choose.

We look forward to welcoming you.

During this retreat you will learn:

  • to understand your symptoms, why they’re happening, and the steps you can take to alleviate them.

  • how to improve your sleep, energy, mood, memory and anxiety

  • the essentials of mid-life movement, the importance of strength exercises, and how to improve your mobility and flexibility

  • how food can be part of your menopause medicine, menopause nutrition and digestive health

Plus we will have a delicious, healthy lunch and treats which include hormone-balancing ingredients

The conversation around menopause can cause many reactions but ultimately when you get a group of women together it becomes an enriching and supportive conversation. There will be ample opportunities for gentle self-enquiry, discussions, and space for questions and connections.

You will feel rested, supported and inspired after this retreat.
